SELF-PORTRAIT | Meeting with Hal Wildson, Brazilian multimedia artist and poet

For the France–Brazil Season 2025, MansA commissioned artist Hal Wildson to create the Re-Utopya: Constelação Ypatrué flag, a work symbolizing a sun that no longer rises in the center, but on the periphery.

Between poetry, collage, and symbolism, Hal Wildson weaves connections between Brazil and Africa, between faded memories and possible futures.

A flag like a living constellation—a journey through the imaginations, struggles, and inner suns that we all carry within us.
