From April 13 to 18, 2026, MansA-Maison des Mondes Africains was in Martinique and Guadeloupe for its first initiative in the Caribbean. This trip is fully in line with MansA’s commitment to supporting contemporary creation by fostering connections and exchanges among artists, researchers, and cultural actors from—or with ties to—the DROM-COM regions.
(Re)discover the discussions from the roundtable recorded in Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) as part of MansA’s initiative in April 2026 in the Caribbean, in partnership with BazaArt, Loxymore, and MACTe.
Titled “Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Organizational Development in the Cultural and Creative Industries in Guadeloupe,” this conference brought together professionals from the cultural sector to discuss the challenges of organizational development in the region’s cultural and creative industries: access to funding, regional and international cooperation, and the building of professional networks.
Speakers:
– Amélie Tintin (GWA’LABEL / Nouvelle Vague)
– Joëlle Fifi (Arts au Pluriailes)
– Gilda Gonfier (European Commission)
– Cynthia Phibel (photographer, author, visual artist, and cultural manager)
