Photos from the "Paris Noir" Ball

On April 27 at La Bellevilloise, MansA brought back the vibrant nights of Paris Noir.

The opening featured a live podcast talk hosted by Bintou Simporé and Reza Pounewatchy, evoking vivid memories of the Bal Blomet, Afro-Cuban jams, and Caribbean clubs, combining oral tradition and embodied storytelling. Then, the stage came alive: voices, bodies, and drums told another story of the capital: that of Creole balls, musical revolts, and dancing memories.

Conceived by Jay One Ramier, led by Marc Vorchin and his Paris Noir Orchestra, and featuring Sébastien Quesada on batà drums, “Jazz Sauce Combo – Le Bal du Paris Noir” drew an audience eager to celebrate this legacy and help shape its future.
