Living in the World: Stories, Struggles and Legacy

Research Breakfasts - Season 1

The Research Breakfasts are small-group sessions for work and discussion, designed to stimulate the MansA team’s thinking and strengthen its network of researchers, thinkers, and doctoral students. These meetings support the institution’s organizational development, inform its programmatic and strategic directions, and contribute to the creation of an active research network, both in France and internationally.

This first season brings together four conversations recorded at MansA between February and June 2026. Through reflections on the imagination, the postcolonial state, marine conservation, and African intellectual currents, these exchanges explore the ways in which worlds are constructed, narrated, transformed, and shared.
