Amílcar Cabral: In Support of a Radical Humanism

From October 16 to December 13, 2026, MansA is dedicating an exhibition to Amílcar Cabral (1924–1973)—a revolutionary, theorist, agricultural engineer, Pan-Africanist, and one of the leading figures of the African independence movements. Nine contemporary artists engage with his ideas through textiles, photography, installations, video, and drawing.

When Little Voices Take Hold of Big Ideas

Following on from the N.A.R.D.A.L. program, MansA is launching its original program, “Petits palabres.” Inspired by the traditions of discussion and storytelling from African cultures, this series—designed for children ages 6–15—provides a space where the collective thinking of children and teenagers can flourish, highlighting their voices as a powerful tool for reflection and connection.

Black Card: Three Days at the Film Festival with Maboula Soumahoro

To kick off its 2026–2027 season, MansA is launching N.A.R.D.A.L, a new program dedicated to the thought, creativity, and activism of women from African communities. For this inaugural edition, scholar and essayist Maboula Soumahoro takes over the Maison with her “black card” and has devised a unique three-day program in homage to the Nardal sisters.

Hanami at Espace 1789 in Saint-Ouen
