Trajectoires
With Trajectoires, personalities are invited to imagine original projects: creations, research, exhibitions, performances, or encounters. Each proposal becomes a unique path to rethink heritages and their contemporary echoes.
Trajectoires aims to highlight the richness, diversity, and complexity of African and Afro-diasporic cultural scenes, as well as their intersections with other often overlooked geographical and historical spaces. By giving recognized and emerging cultural actors the freedom to invest a dedicated period within MansA, this program creates a privileged space for plural, committed, and innovative voices.
Each trajectory is entrusted to a guest who develops a singular proposal, which may take various forms—research, creation, performances, encounters, exhibitions, screenings, or other hybrid formats—depending on their practice and interests. The goal is to encourage a sensitive and critical exploration of Afro-descendant issues, fostering new dialogues around Afro-descendant heritages and their contemporary resonances.
A lively, collective approach
The program embodies a lively, collective methodology that promotes diversity of voices, cross-disciplinary knowledge, and creativity as drivers for renewed intercultural dialogue. Through Trajectoires, MansA seeks to nurture debate, amplify memories, and imagine new forms of cultural encounter, allowing Afro-descendant experiences to resonate in all their plurality, richness, and contemporary relevance.
