On the new moon of November 19, 2025, the ghost ship X.MISERICORDIA docks at MansA - Maison des Mondes Africains. In the basement, the hold screens the film-ritual AFRICA IS THE FUTURE, while on the first floor, on the bridge, cosmological navigation continues, reorganizing knowledge. Photography, archetypal images of modernity, hacked monitors and pirate radio are reconfigured according to Kongo cosmology, tracing new coordinates.
X.MISERICORDIA offers a journey where past, present and future meet, revealing invisible presences, buried memories and realities yet to be invented.
Nicolas Premier is an artist based in Bobigny. Through video, photography, and installation, he explores modernity and its legacies from experiences and knowledge outside the mainstream. His work weaves together archives, popular cultures, and transoceanic thoughts to articulate memory, critique dominant narratives, and create new collective myths.
