For Valentine's Day, plunge into the world of Orfeu Negro with Yure Romão and his musicians, and give back to samba its faces, its soul, and its history...

On February 13th, Le 360 will host an exceptional event: a film-concert based on Marcel Camus's legendary film Orfeu Negro (1959). This unique session, conceived by musician and director Yure Romão, will blend a screening of the film with a live musical performance.

Driven by Romão's guitar, accompanied by cavaquinho player Matheus Donato and percussionist Lili Nascimento, the show will revisit the film's original soundtrack — a blend of bossa nova and samba — enhanced with contemporary arrangements. This delicate interplay between images and sounds will bring together the voices of essential figures in Brazilian music: Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes, Luiz Bonfá, Elza Soares, Dona Ivone Lara, among others. Through this musical reinterpretation, the cine-concert will pay tribute to the Black artists whose contribution, although central, often remains hidden in the film's official credits.

This suspended moment will also be an act of memory and symbolic reparation, in which the invisible bodies and voices of the past will finally find their place on stage. A committed, poetic re-reading of a masterpiece of world cinema.
