On Thursday, June 26, from midnight to dawn, Les Étoiles will welcome Electric Makossa, the final stop on the Paris Noir 2025 tour. A lively tribute to the birth of hip-hop in France and its many roots, this clubbing event, conceived by artist Jay One Ramier, will feature a vibrant and engaging musical lineup.
On stage, DJ Chabin, a prominent figure in Parisian nightlife, will perform his famous mixes of funk, reggae-dub, jazz rock and fusion, soul, Afro-Caribbean music, and rap. He will be accompanied by smurfers and breakdancers, taking us back to the beginnings of hip-hop culture, which is now a major force in the international music scene.
The night will continue with DJ Dre Tala spinning zouk, afrobeat, shatta, bouyon, and amapiano. All this with surprises and exclusive guests. Lineup

DJ Chabin: A pioneer of mixing since 1979, DJ Chabin excels in funk, jazz rock, soul, and Afro-Caribbean music. In the 1980s, he set the pace for smurfers and breakdancers on the Place du Trocadéro, popularizing jazz rock. Currently DJ for the Jeux de Jambes collective, he has hosted memorable parties and performed at iconic venues such as the Bataclan and the Globo. He continues to rock Paris at venues such as the Nouveau Cosmos and the Gallia bar in Pantin.

DJ Dre Tala: Since his debut in 2020, Dre Tala has made a name for himself on the Paris night scene. Growing up in a family of musicians, he skillfully blends African influences, electronic music, and RnB soul. Through his sets, he offers an immersive and unique experience, telling a real story to his audience.

Jeu de Jambes: Led by Alex Benth, the Jeu de Jambes collective brings together eight pioneering jazz-rock dancers, a dance style that originated on the streets and is the ancestor of hip-hop. Heirs to the acrobatic jazz of the 1920s, they captivate audiences with their energy and passion.
Daarren & Willis, members of the Modestine family: The Modestine family embodies a legacy of dance. Robert, the father, a jazz rock dancer, and Delphine, the mother, manage the family's communications despite health challenges. Their children, Daarren and Willis, fuse jazz rock, Afro, house dance, and hip-hop, becoming stars beyond their city. Before the pandemic, they won the Juste Debout qualifiers in Stockholm, validated by the judges, including the famous Les Twins!
