About MansA - Maisons des Mondes Africains
MansA - Maison des Mondes Africains is a new cultural institution dedicated to contemporary African and Afro-diasporic creations and cultures: a venue for artistic programming, a media platform, an incubator and a space for reflection. Find out more about MansA.
The MansA project is supported by a Groupement d'Intérêt Public (GIP) set up in May 2024. The GIP comprises several founding members divided into three colleges:
Public College: The French government, represented by several ministries, including the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Youth, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
College of national cultural operators: Centre Pompidou and Institut Français.
College of associate members: Agence française de développement (AFD), Banque publique d'investissement (Bpifrance) and France Volontaires (an operator of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs).
This legal status enables public and private partners to be involved in the governance of the project, thus ensuring shared management and diversity of the players involved.
MansA opened its doors on October 4, 2025, in a former workshop at 26 rue Jacques-Louvel-Tessier, in the 10ᵉ arrondissement of Paris. This location, chosen for its proximity to the Goncourt metro station, is a temporary residence lasting two years. It enables the Maison des Mondes Africains to deploy its first public activities while awaiting its permanent installation in a definitive site, currently under study as part of an inter-ministerial project.

All ticketing information (links, prices, access conditions) is always available on the MansA website page for each event.
